Sight (series)
archival pigment prints

Sight is a photographic investigation of perception and memory. It is inspired by an optic nerve scan of my eyes. Seeing my own optic nerve, a mysterious messenger of present and future vision, felt both wondrous and otherworldly. I use this binocular image as a kind of scaffolding membrane to collect and layer imagery of both familiar and newly discovered landscapes. This series reflects on shifting visions—those rooted in biology, and those evoking a sense of place that is ever-changing.
